The "I do" Moment

One of the most rewarding part of a ceremony is seeing the bride and groom tie the knot under the auspices of one who is commissioned to solemnize wedding vows. I was always fascinated by the bonds of Holy Matrimony and thought that the most important moment was the “I do” pledge to each other in an atmosphere of tranquility. Setting the stage for this auspicious moment is therefore a crucial component of my organizational framework. I therefore have the task of cultivating this tranquility before the bride approaches the bridal chamber. This can only be accomplished by the meeting of minds before the ceremony in order to foresee how the wishes of the bride and groom can be executed. The ideal win-win situation is the compromises that the parties make to avoid any unnecessary glitch on the special day. A quick run through of the agenda and the vows including the ring ceremony, will quell de trop jitters and create an atmosphere of confidence. On the day, the task is further accomplished by the positive exuberance of energy in the court of the bridal chamber where the rite of marriage is not only performed but a place where the Trinity is welcome.
